CAMERA POSITIONING

SUBMIT YOUR VIDEO, MUSIC, TEAM LOGO & DESCRIPTION

LIGHTING, VISIBILITY & BACKGROUND

◾  All venues differ in size, distance and height therefore HHI recommends that the camera lens should be positioned approximately four feet above the dance floor at eye level of the judges (if they were seated in the event venue). The entire width of the dance floor should be in view so that judges can view the crew from side to side and front to back. In other words, the entire routine and all crew members are in the judges’ view.

Please note: A professional camera is not required. Most smart phones have great filming capabilities.
